By using Mavis Dunbar we serves as the middleman in assisting you to reach financial stability. A middleman plays the role of an intermediary in a distribution or transaction chain who facilitates interaction between the involved parties. Middlemen specialize in performing crucial activities involved in the purchase and sale of goods in their flow from producers to the ultimate buyers. They typically do not produce anything but possess extensive knowledge of the market, thereby charging a commission or a fee for their services. You explain your situation and we at Mavis Dunbar refer you to the respective service that best suits you.

Request a meeting with Mavis Dunbar Immigrant Services LLC on the desired issue(s)
Receive a confirmation with a scheduled meeting (virtual or in person)
After the scheduled meeting, Mavis Dunbar Immigrant Services LLC will refer immigrants and/or their families, (target population), to our outside partners who will work with the client(s) to address their issue. The customer will pay Mavis Dunbar Immigrant Services for the initial referral fee.
Service payments will be charged by the outside organization based on their payment plan and services provided by that organization. Additionally, we will follow up with client(s) and the referred organization to confirm that the client(s) needs have been addressed successfully.

Legal Assistance
Provides legal assistance to New Jersey Immigrants for their immigration and or civil legal issues. Through its work, Mavis Dunbar strives to secure substantive and procedural justice for immigrants and their families living in New Jersey.
Immigration Assistance
Aids new immigrants through the citizenship and naturalization process including passport/driver's license renewal, birth certificates, tax payers registration number(T.R.N)
Economic Assistance
Services to aid immigrants including small business grants, loans, opening saving, investment accounts and assists with expanding businesses, gaining capital and marketing
Housing Assistance
Refer clients to programs that prevent homelessness and help immigrants move out of temporary shelters and into stable, permanent housing. Additionally, this agency provides low-income immigrants with referrals to assist them to purchase and invest in real estate properties
Access to Medical Assistance
Refer immigrants to organizations with comprehensive health care coverage for vulnerable populations and people with limited incomes.
Job Training
Connect immigrants and or their families to specific programs that focus on a specific skill or skill set needed to perform specific jobs of their choice
Domestic Violence Assistance
Service for survivors, victims, and those affected by domestic violence, intimate partner violence, and relationship abuse.
Daycare Assistance
Refer clients to services that help income-eligible parents who are in school or working to pay for child care.
Food Pantries and Soup Kitchen
Connect immigrants to services that address community health disparities through foods and related services that they provide.
Assistance with Identity Theft/Fraud Issues
Aids immigrants who have been victim to fraudulent crime or identity theft.
College Application and Financial Aid Assistance
Connects immigrants to college counseling, test preparation, and academic tutoring. Working with Mavis Dunbar means partnering with experts who will help you navigate the entire college admissions process, from brainstorming your college essays to pressing submit on your applications.
GED Preparation Assistance
Connect immigrants without a highschool degree to programs that provide tutors and accompanying resources to pass the GED test
